This was my son's first lego set. he's 7 years old and I thought he would just play with it and not really understand how to put it together but I was shocked and so proud, and so was he when he showed me he had put it together all by himself! I was amazed! I think it is great! It's really developed a love of lego building for him. The directions are simple. No words, just simple but detailed pictures of how to put it together. Love this product!

The set is really much bigger than it looks. It comes with 4 fully armed rebel troopers. Just a few sets would make a great army. The only downside is that the rebel helmets fall off alot and somtimes the turret does not come off very smooth. But this is still an AWESOME set.

It's very small but have plenty of Republic Troops that you need this piece to pretend play. It's actually little more sturdy than imperial scout set that ship doesn't fall apart that easily. However, it's very easy to build with little help of instruction booklet, even my five y/o son could build it within 10~15 minutes. Nice set for little ones to build by themselves to feel sense of accomplishment.
