"Bionicles are great for kids" 2008-12-13

Purchased this for a friends child and he went crazy. Very educational for a child to be able to build things on their own. I think it worthwhile for dexterity, creativity and thought!

This is a great toy for the young men. It goes together fast and then you get to play. Accomplishment and reward at it's best.

"the bionicle that does not have a tool." 2007-10-01

The new toa are here! Now you may think that its cool too have a bionicle that has twice the firing action. But there are some problems. First of all you cant pose it very well, second there's no tool! The bionicle franchise always gives there products there own tool. But its not all bad.You can make this one stand up real easy! And its short and compact. Plus it comes with plenty of ammo that does not fall out.A good buy.

 "Worth the Weight?" 2007-09-01
By J. Sherman (New York, USA)
Now that LEGO's Barraki toys have kept our kids busy, the new wave of Bionicles have arrived. Say hello to the Toa Mahri, whose claim to fame are their tubed oxygen masks and pump-powered Cordak Blasters. Standing 6 inches tall, the highly-posable Toa Kongu packs not one but two Cordak Blasters for twice the firing action. Told ya green was great! But the Blasters themselves aren't very responsive, and could end up pumping the life out of your child. And while they pack enough ammo (16 missles to be exact), you might want to keep more handy. The weapons also put twice the weight on the toy's massive but thin body. And having less-than-sturdy ankles doesn't help any. While the toy's packaging can be used as a little fort, there's no storage for this big guy. Keeping all this in mind, you might want to save your money, at least until LEGO works out the kinks.

This toy is recommended for ages 7-16: Small Parts, Projectile Launchers.
