 "Cool Star Wars ship!" 2010-01-08
By Colleen O (Menomonee Falls, WI USA)
My son and I looked everywhere for this toy and were so excited to finally find it on Amazon. It is a very cool ship, however, these large ships are very fragile and can fall apart easily. He loved building it (me too) but doesn't really play with it much because it's hard to handle. He really enjoys the smaller vehicles for everyday play.

This is a great lego!!! It has 537 pieces and comes with the minifigs: of course, Boba Fett, Dengar, IG-88, and a Bespin Guard. Here some of the pros and cons:

Pros: Very durable, great minifigs, great detail, lots of hidden weapons including a launching missile (it shoots pretty far).

Cons: NOTHING!!!

It's a medium-hard build, it took me about 4 hours of continuous building to finish.

Happy building!

"Better than I expected it to be" 2009-05-20

I ordered this toy before I read the reviews. After reading the one-star reviews, I got worried about my purchase, as they mentioned the necessity of gluing the thing together, which is not a good sign for Legos. Then I consoled myself with the thought that I'd be getting a Lego Boba Fett, which for me would almost make the entire cost of the toy worth it. When I got the shipment, I forgot all the negative reviews and got to work. It's not as bad as the one-star reviews make out. The toy is actually pretty sturdy, and does NOT need glue to hold together. I don't see why one would resort to glue on Legos, unless you plan to just display the toy and not use the parts for anything else, which defeats the purpose of Lego. Using glue on Lego would just ruin the versatility of the toys, since you can't disassemble and reassemble the toy as something else, which for me is one of the main attractions of Lego.

The various compartments and moving parts make for more interesting play, in keeping with Boba Fett's bounty hunter character. The Lego Han Solo in carbonite is also good for a laugh. The other minifigures are a welcome bonus, even if I have little use for a Bespin guard. The only negative comment I can really make about this is that the instructions could be clearer. I found myself backtracking every now and then to make sure I was still assembling it properly. Aside from that one hitch, I really can't say anything bad about this toy. This is Slave I, for crying out loud!

I got this toy as a present one time and I was very happy, but it was missing pieces! Now it is over 150 dollars! Based on what it looks it was a really great toy,but be careful where you choose to buy it.I got it at target. I would still buy it though...

This is toy is AWESOME!The only problem that I think is that there's no room for the other minifigs. It took me about 6 hours to build (I am 10). It didnt say what pieces were required so it took longer to figure out from each page what was needed. The only thing that falls apart are the hidden missles. The front does not fall off when I use it, so maybe people are not putting it together right if it keeps falling apart. IG-88 aka Assassin Droid is AWESOME,the warm smile on Dengar is a little disturbing but it is cool to have this many figures. I RECOMMEND ANYONE WHO CAN GET THEIR HANDS ON IT TO BUY IT!!!!!!
