What a great set! It is big, and can take a bit of time to build, but is great for hours of fun, and is a "must have" for any Lego City!

Bought this for our grandson who is 8yrs old and loves to play with Legos.
I think he has just about every "big" set there is now. There's a websight for Lego that kids go onto and they show them how to use the Lego pieces to create more things then just what's in the picture on the box. Great idea.

I voted five stars because what Lego set isn't? haha... but really, my 6 year old son is great at following instructions and putting together Lego sets. However, I got this set for him for Christmas and it seemed to overwhelm him, and he hasn't even tried to finish it. :-( I think rating this for a 5 year old is a bit young unless someone plans on helping them out alot. I think the patience level needed to do a project this large would be closer to a 7 year old, really. Cute set though, and I'm sure eventually he will decide to put it together!

My 10-year-old son loves Legos, and he really enjoyed building the hospital. This "City" series of Legos is very appropriate and a good level for his age, and I love the opportunities for creative play.
