I'm an occupational therapist, and the Lego Creator game can be used for social skills, finger strengthening, sequencing, problem-solving, and it's a great motivator!

After 6 years of searching the toy depts every where I went, I finally found it; here on Amazon.com. A dear friend had bought this game for my sons 6th birthday. Unfortunatily; he loaned it to his cousin and it was lost in a move. My son was devestated ~ he loved this game ~ it was great.
A little pricy, but worth it to see the excitement on my sons face when he got it. All his friend are coming over to play.

I love using this game in therapy. Not only does it incite great language but it is also good for those who need help with following directions. I love to use this for all my students over the age of 6. Any younger than that and they have difficulty following what to do as well as follow along with how to move your pawn around.

You place all the lego pieces in the middle of the gameboard, the players pieces are different colored lego hats. There are different stacks of cards, red cards, blue cards, etc. For each color there are four buildible creations (you only play from one color stack). So for each color stack there are 4 different models to build. You need to collect the pieces on your card in order to build and complete your model before anyone else. The pieces are specific colors and some are general pieces while somethings like wheels are considered special pieces.
You roll the dice and move that many spaces, some spaces are color specific, some denote one or two pieces, or "special" pieces, some spaces you can take someone elses piece. You do what the space you land on tells you to do.
It's quite fun, we got our game when my son was just 5 and we gave one to a nephew when he was about 8, both still play the game 2 years later.

I bought this when my son was 6 years old and we played for a long time. I say "we" because I enjoyed playing as much as he did! Lots of fun for the whole family!
