Ball-Joint Fun! ?with Zoobs-the Zoob® Building System from INFINITOY. Very clever and with lots more odd permutations than most building sets. Zoobs are 2-5/8" long with a socket, a ball, or one of each at each end. The balls are little golf-ball-like things. The small set has a total of (35) pieces in red, green, circus-peanut-orange, blue and silver. The larger set has (125) pieces in the same colors in a sturdy plastic storage case. The car designer package has 76 Zoobs, plus a dozen wheels, axles and tires. Some people here think a clever chemistry teacher could do all sorts of interesting things with these. We wouldn't know-our chemistry teacher wasn't clever, he was mean.

"Fun - Creative and interesting toy for toddlers" 2010-01-24
By J. Nitzky (New York, New York United States)
We received this as a gift for my 3-year old and he immediately took to these building objects! They are really cool, brightly colored, durable and different from other typical building toys - they are kind of futuristic and fun! My 1-year old even plays with them and they are safe and perfectly sized for her hands. These are very good educationally too as they foster creative thinking and analyzing how to put the round sides into the curved slots. When put together, they also have the ability to move and rotate offering more creative possiblities.

"Fun for years but doesn't last long enough" 2009-12-17
By Beth Hynes-Ciernia (Minneapolis, MN United States)
My son discovered Zoobs at age eight while vacationing in another state and we used to search high and low to feed his appetite. Now, even at eighteen years Zoobs are one of the few youth toys he still brings out on occasion. However, we have been disappointed with the durability. The claw ends get stressed over time and snap off, rendering the piece mostly useless (some duct tape and imagination helped re-purpose it). Not in the same league as Lincoln logs, Playmobil and Legos but still good fun!

"Great for children that bore easily...especially autism" 2009-08-19
By Nicole (Columbus, Ohio)
We purchased this for our 4 1/2 yr old son and thought since he loves legos, marble towers, and other building/constructing toys that he would enjoy this!

As soon as he saw the box, he was intrigued. He was just playing with Zoobs a few minutes ago up until his bus arrived.

My hubby and I enjoy the endless possibilities with this toy and how it can twist, bend, and rotate...very educational and great for sharpening fine motor skills.

Like Legos, it has samples of diagrams of how to construct some things such as a cell phone, an airplane, etc.

Great for those that are mechanical or love to be challenged. My son has a higher form of autism and bores easily with every day toys...a great motivating toy...especially with those with autism.

"a toy to grow into" 2008-07-18

This is a great toy in spurts. My son plays with it for a week at a time and then switches back to legos. It is a great toy overall.

"Great toy, but the plastic will be aging and break" 2007-09-17
By M. chang (Sunny West Coast)
We got this set 3 years ago, they were excellent in all ways! I thought I found something which is as good as LEGO building blocks! Starting from the beginning of this year, they were broken one by one. We now only have approx. 20 left! My kids still love it, but if the set can't pass the test of the time. Why leave kids sad? By the way, the broken pieces are pretty sharp on the broken edges! My own LEGO set last for over 20 years already! I will still stick to the LEGO!
